The ESD safe TW100 Removal Tweezer is a low cost solution to the problem of SMC removal without causing electrical or mechanical degradation of adjacent components or substrate.

The temperature controlled tips/ heater bars restrict the heat to the leads of the components to be removed. The body of the component is not subjected to the high temperature, air/gas or IR heating. The components is released immediately the solder reflows (188 deg C / 370deg F)

The tweezer can be operated from any ROYEL T1000 series, T7000 series and even the RT5000 and RT6000 series THERMATIC power units

The tweezer is comprised of two temperature controlled heater elements. Each of which can deliver up to 22W of continuous power. Since the amount of power required to remove SMC is usually small, and varies from component to component, the power unit will automatically deliver the required amount of power for each removal operation.
