This dual purpose unit can be fitted with a range of solder reflow heads designed for the desoldering/ resoldering of regular leaded DIPs.
It can be operated from any T1000, T7000 and RT series ROYEL THERMATIC temperature controlled power units
When the unit is fitted with a solder pot ( Part Number
Sp400), a temperature range from (400 deg F) 200 deg. C to ( 800 deg F)
425 deg C can be achieved for pre-tinning of component leads, tags and
wires.
Selecting the minimum temperature, depending on the mass of the component,
prevent thermal damage, excess dissolution of base metal or growth of
intermettalics.
Simple to fit and to discard contaminated solder.
